Two new knights, welcome Cherry and Michael
The latest team members to join the Knighthood.
Meet Cherry Banning-Chan— Office Management Assistant
Our new Office Operations Assistant is Cherry, who moved to the Netherlands all the way from Hong Kong in early 2022. Alongside her role at Your Majesty, Cherry is learning Dutch and getting to grips with all the Dutch quirks we know and love.
Cherry brings a vibrant and positive attitude to the team, she hopes to help create a nice environment that helps everyone enjoy their day-to-day.
"I feel like operations are kinda like assists in ball games, you don't necessarily score a point but you try making it easier for your teammates."
When she’s not keeping us in check at the Office, Cherry loves browsing the supermarket whilst she’s doing her groceries. And in classic Dutch style, she loves a little people-watching - appreciating and enjoying busy and exciting interactions around her.
Meet Michael Rose — Project Manager
Hailing from Nottingham in the UK, Michael migrated to enjoy the Dutch life in October 2022. He joins Your Majesty with a background in both web design and development from large agency, small business and freelance experiences. He’s a self-professed process lover - perfect for the role as a PM.
Michael loves travelling, Australasia, Central & South America are some of his highlights over the years. He even spent six months in Sydney, Australia, working for a start-up digital production agency.
Along his travels he loved to indulge in an exciting adrenalin experience:
"I would never say no to an adrenalin experience in the past, from bungee jumping, sky diving, hang gliding you name it. But as I’ve gotten older my risk appetite has completely disappeared and I now avoid heights at all costs."
When he’s not at Your Majesty you can find Michael checking out the best restaurants and bars or testing his own skills in the kitchen.
Welcome both ⚔️
