Erika recently moved from Seattle, Washington. She holds degrees in international relations and design. Exploring the world has long been one of her passions: while in school, she did a one-year exchange at the University of Tokyo, and later spent another year in Paris studying French. Adapting to different languages and cultures has developed her keenness to view things from different perspectives.
She spent the last two years working for a US airline, switching from designing customer-facing digital solutions to mobile products for the operation. She found it very fulfilling to build tools that make a difference and help employees improve customer service experience. Her greatest design interests lie in social-impact projects tied to healthcare, education, and improving people’s livelihood.
During her spare time, she likes to nurture her creative side through watercolor, exploring new places, camping and, as of late, capturing beauty through the lens of her second hand digital camera.
